Soraya Perry is a Black-Iranian artist raised in Lebanon and the U.S. She has been awarded residencies at Vermont Studio Center ['18], Worcester's Collective-A-Go-Go ['18], and The Sitka Center For Art and Ecology ['18-'19]. She received a B.A. in Film and Sociology from Vassar College. Her recent projects include animated short “The Crack: An Origin Myth” and “The Power in Barber’s Radish,” a Sociology thesis on the social function of food taste. Her first album is forthcoming. Many people don’t like her because she once licked a Monet.
